| | Bob the Founder of FreshPeek Helping others achieve their dreams | | | 25 Years of software development through his own consulting firm, Bob Bigelow has designed, developed and implemented software systems for fortune 500 companies and quite a number of small business owners. Some of the clients range from Colombia TriStar Home Video; Sony Pictures; Parkinson, Wolfe, Lazar & Leo (Big 8 Insurance Litigator); First American Title Insurance; numerous systems in the Sales & Distribution industry; and more.
Projects would last 2-4 years for development and service up to 1,000+ users. The primary focus of these software systems was to radically cut costs by creating extremely efficient systems. Parkinson Wolfe realized a $600,000 expense cut in their first year and won a $50 million insurance litigation case due to their remote access system (back in the day) and extensive database searching capabilities.
Since 2003, Bob has turned his focus to website development for the small business entrepreneur (below $10 million/yr) and became fascinated with the start-up industry and set out to help people to implement their business strategies. He encountered two primary recurring issues that all small businesses seem to face, especially the start-ups.
1. The founder has one or two talents (at most) but attempts to carry out the tasks of multiple departments which are not in their realm of expertise. This is due to lack of sufficient funds and/or the inability to properly setup a management team. 2. Inability to raise sufficent start-up capital.
Bob's efforts are now focused on the new generation of small business entrepreneurs that are emerging. Working closely with Chris Bigelow (his 24 year old son) has brought the mind set and ideas of the generation that will shape our world's future into the FreshPeek strategy.
Taking a new look at business and proceeding with progressive methods, FreshPeek provides multiple platforms and venues for this new breed of entrepreneur that will inspire and lead them into succeed. |

| We've launched our website December 11, 2007 | | | | | View all blogs for this member | My Category: Personal | Submit a Comment | | The Website is Launched, but there are a few plans we want to keep quiet for now. It's very exciting to get this project off the ground and into reality. We've spent the past year of our own time working out the concept of helping people in their businesses. So far, we've met with excellent responses not only from individuals, but from various organizations as well.
We have many future things planned for FreshPeek, but want to keep them quite for now. Our current focus is simply building a few FreshPeek Dinners to have 10-20 consistently attending. We hope you'll join us for a dinner or at least feel free to join the site and stay in touch. Bob
